Tea Hut Katoomba, Blue Mountains 1997 |
The tea hut was commissioned over a cup of tea under a tree that became the site for the tea hut. The construction was prefabricated from blackbutt rafters and blue gum framing. The skin was made of plywood sandwich panels as wall, doors, and ceiling panels. Rainwater is collected from the roof to be heated for the tea. | ||||||
