Bush Garden

Original Robin Dyke designed the house from the 80s; the home and garden were tired. The design was a new garden and carport, and entry. Set in an Angophora and cycad forest, a series of decks bring the bush inside the existing house while contrasting the white, pure architecture.

The carport reaches down a long driveway lane to welcome guests to ring a bell while resting at a raised stone pond. They are welcomed into a landscaped courtyard before entering the house. Or it can be directed onto a large deck with western views over Pittwater. The views then lead to a series of timber decks along a contour with large sandstone boulders shouldering the weather: main elements; hardwood, stone, and water.
